Adrian College , founded in 1859, is a private, co-educational college of liberal arts and sciences related to The United Methodist Church. It is located in Adrian, Michigan, just 45 minutes from Ann Arbor and Toledo, Ohio, and 90 minutes from Detroit.
It is a traditional four-year, residential college that focuses completely on undergraduate education, with over 40 majors and pre-professional programs available. Facilities include a multi-sport performance stadium, an indoor ice arena, a 24-hour student center, a planetarium, and Shipman Library. 22 varsity sports total (10 for men, 12 for women), 4 club sports (2 ACHA hockey teams, dance, cheer) involving roughly 35% of the student body, 50% participate in intramurals. The Adrian Bulldogs participate in the MIAA (Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association) athletic conference: NCAA Div. III.
Adrian College is home to the Arrington Ice Arena and back to back Harris Cup Champion Hockey Team. Arrington Ice Arena is open to the community.
