The Lenawee Council for the Visual Arts (LCVA) is a non-profit organization committed to providing opportunities for visual arts in Lenawee County. The goals of the LCVA are to foster pride and involvement in the local community, develop an audience for the visual arts and encourage community support for the visual arts, while working to create a centralized network that will promote the activities of local visual arts groups and artists.

As the oldest continually operated theatre in Michigan and one of the oldest in the country, the Croswell Opera House is a registered Michigan Historic site. The Croswell, one of the country’s premier community theatres, offers the best available talent in live theatre, children’s theatre and special events, including fine arts exhibits in their art gallery. Musical and dramatic presentations can be seen all year long.

Lenawee County Historical Museum

Located in a castle-like Romanesque building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the three floors of the museum are filled with paintings, photographs, maps, written documents, furniture, dolls, glassware, tools, vehicles and more. The purpose of the museum is to preserve and reveal the way in which the people of Lenawee County have lived throughout the years.
